ADAS Calibration Information

ADAS Calibration Information

**I-Car Repair standards require ADAS calibrations to be performed in the event of a collision on or near affected modules, when front bumper, rear bumper, windshield is removed. **

When Performing the ADAS calibrations, the required conditions need to be met in order to begin calibrations on all Makes/Models:

– Level/even floor space indoors free from all metal obstructions/structures with at least 6 meters/600cm/19ft of length and width of vehicle.

– In the event of a replacement of a new module (Front distance sensor, Blind spot module, windshield camera, various modules), keep old modules in order to pull stored configuration data, for configuration of new modules.

– In the event of replacement of Front windshield equipped with a Forward safety collision/Lane Watch Camera, an OEM windshield is recommended for proper camera positioning and calibration.

– Vehicle battery must be stable enough to hold a charge with a battery tender to avoid misreading’s and errors from modules.

– Calibration of front distance sensor, Windshield Camera, Parking sensors, and Blind spots are required in event of frontal or frontal-side impact in event of radar shifting, or removal of front/rear bumpers.

– Vehicle must have full size Tires/Wheels installed. No spare tires.

– Vehicle must be in drivable state to perform test drive under most calibration conditions.
